BiotageIsolera One
Advanced and compact rapid preparation chromatography instrument
Biotage is the earliest company to develop a commercially available rapid preparative chromatograph. Biotage has been producing consumables such as chromatography columns since the 1980s and has been developing rapid preparation chromatography and its supporting products. In 1990, it launched a manual rapid preparation chromatography, a semi-automatic rapid preparation chromatography in 1992, and a fully automatic rapid preparation chromatography in 1996. Currently, over 11000 purification systems have been installed worldwide, with a leading market share. After acquiring Argonaut Technologies in 2005, Biotage's rapid preparative chromatography series has various types ranging from single channel to multi-channel, from laboratory research to industrial production, fully meeting the needs of different users.
Biotage Isolera rapid preparation chromatography series products are used to purify organic synthesis reaction systems, natural product extracts, and other organic mixtures.
Biotage Isolera One is a single channel system, while the 4-channel Isolera Four is an ideal multi-user system suitable for high-throughput laboratories. Isolera instrument, method editing is easy. By using its built-in touch screen or remote control from the office through a computer, you can edit gradients (click, drag points and lines), flow rates, collection volumes, detection wavelengths, and collection modes. You can also add more test tube supports during the purification process, which can be edited online for greater flexibility and intelligence.
Combined with the powerful Isolera Spektra software, Isolera One/Fun has advanced rapid preparation chromatography technology. Currently, only expensive or specially customized chromatography systems on the market possess these advanced features. For example, DAD scanning and λ - Al technology can detect and record the absorption data of compounds eluted from Flash chromatography columns at all UV wavelengths, measure and display the UV spectra of compounds. Advanced baseline calibration function can help reduce product loss at small wavelengths and lower excess solvent consumption. Determine purity through PDA spectroscopy without the need for post column purity analysis.
Four channel binary gradient/online addition of modifier
In the experiment, we can use four solvents for the same purification, making it easier to purify complex systems. Unlike traditional binary gradients, in a purification experiment, a gradient method composed of four solvents can achieve the separation and preparation of lipophilic and strongly polar compounds.
Isolera One rapid preparation chromatograph can add a third solvent to a binary gradient mobile phase at a constant ratio. In this way, modifiers can be effectively added to improve purification efficiency.
Add modifier
Method can be set: Add a third solvent to the binary gradient mobile phase at a constant ratio. Maintain the solubility of the compound to avoid system overpressure caused by the precipitation of crystals.
Biotage chromatography columns are suitable for all
The Isolera Spektra One and Isolera Spektra Four rapid preparative chromatographs are suitable for SNAP, SNAP Ultra, ZIP, and ZIP Sphere chromatography columns, Various specifications ranging from 5g to 750g (1500g can be used for Isolera LS).
